You're very welcome! I haven't seen a play before so it's a new venture for me. I feel really good about it though and I agree.. it'll be so different not for him to sing but his acting course in New York should've helped him immensely!

Hope rehearsals go well for the cast. They start tomorrow although Gary doesn't join them until the final two weeks as he's still in Chicago.

Wowowowowowowowowow!! Lee Mead is amazing in Lord Arthur Savile's Crime. I have a serious crush on Lord Arthur Savile!!! Last night was truly amazing. He was brilliant! I cannot believe how good he was and can't even bring myself to express it. He's so funny, looked absolutely stunning, had amazing acting eyebrows, fantastic comic timing and the lines were delivered beautifully. Now, me always being curious about how other people view him that aren't fans- I turned and asked what the couple next to me thought and they said "It's really really good, we're enjoying it so much!" YAY! If I'm honest, I didn't think the Victorian songs were that great and seemed a bit under rehearsed but there's time for that to have work done on. Also, I didn't think Kate O'Mara was that good. Quite surprised by that. Louisa Clein who plays Sybil Merton was fantastic. She's a very lucky lady If you don't know the plot here it is: Lord Arthur Savile is deliriously happy: a pillar of Victorian society on the verge of marriage to the lovely Sybil Merton, when a brief departure from late Nineteenth century convention leads him to an encounter with a chilling clairvoyant called Podgers. Podgers secretly reveals that at some point in Arthur's life, he is destined to commit murder. To protect his future wife, Arthur decides he must commit this bloody deed before he marries. As he searches for the most convenient person to sacrifice, chaos ensues in this highly entertaining comedy of upper-class morality. -------- Highly recommended. Bill Kenwright was there last night and he was very impressed with Lee. He apparently said Lee was offered a fortune to do another musical and turned it down. This play came along and the money in Bill's words was "cr*p" but he took it.

What a fab review, doesn't give too much away either...u'll have to tell me more later hehe Thanks for posting these gorgeous photos, Lee looks at home ;D his hair fits in well too lol So pleased you enjoyed it, seeing a musical star in a play can be a bit odd at first. Also liking a play to start with can be hard, but I love a play with a mystery or twist to it and this seems to have just that. Wish I could see it maybe i'll get lucky and it will be filmed (a girl can hope lol) Just knew Lee would pull this off, he always puts himself 100% into a part, he seems to become the part he plays. Good for him and I wish him all the best for the rest of the run. thanks again hun xx
