A friend of mine has asked me to ask anyone do they know what Daniel is doing these days.
We have heard that all the other 'Jo' boys are busy doing different shows or other projects but haven't heard about Daniel.
Hope someone can help .

Since starring in Any Dream Will Do the stage career of Daniel Boys has taken off and this has culminated in his starring role in the highly successful Avenue Q at the Noel Coward Theatre. Daniel took a few moments out of his busy schedule so we could find out more about both himself and Avenue Q!:
Has it always been an ambition of yours to be an actor? Since a very, very young age performing with my sister for my parents, then on to school plays and then on to Drama college. It’s been natural progression and always a passion!
In what ways has being on Any Dream Will Do transformed your life? Going through the process in such a public environment allowed me to be seen by a much wider audience of theatergoers and producers etc, than most other casting routes. That is certainly no bad thing for a performer. It has also given me greater boost of confidence… and I even occasionally get recognised in the street.
What do you most enjoy about being involved in Avenue Q? Well I absolutely love the show and have done since I first saw it, so getting to go on every night with a cast and crew who are all such good fun, and see an audience genuinely having such a great time is a real joy.
What are the biggest challenges of performing in Avenue Q? My characters are Princeton and Rod who are both puppets in the show. Before starting in Avenue Q I went on an intensive puppet school to learn how to manipulate the puppets and really bring the characters to life. I’m still exploring ways of using them to best bring out aspects of their personalities. It’s a challenge but great fun!
What roles would you most like to get the opportunity to play in the future? Well I’d love a chance to play Marius in Les Miserables, or possibly Fiyero in Wicked. I’d also really like the opportunity to create a new role in a new musical – a challenge I’ve not yet tried.
If you were not actor, what career do you think you would have chosen? I don’t know, well I have cats and dogs and love animals in general so possibly a vet?
For those who have not seen it, how would you describe Avenue Q in a sentence? To call it a puppet show is not quite right, there's no easy way to describe Avenue Q, except that our audiences love it because it is just like real life. Most people can identify with the characters (even though some are puppets). It’s rude, it’s brash, it has a big heart and is one of the funniest, shows you're ever likely to see!
