Hmm good point! I am wondering if all these rumors are being thrown round for a reason!

Gareth's got a new job!
Good news for Gareth Gates fans – he has landed himself the part the lead in West End Musical Joseph And the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! Gareth will take over from Denise Van Outen's man Lee Mead in January but before that will play Prince Charming in Cinderella at Wimbledon Theatre. We're queuing up for our tickets already – could this be the start of a Gareth comeback?

I noticed that too!!! Don't know how he's going to manage doing Joseph in January when he doesn't finish panto til late, although I've heard Ricky has been asked not to take any holiday in January..... Could very well be! Best of luck to him if it is true

I like Gareth, but wont be going to see WE Joe as I dont like that version. Much prefer the tour.

Panto finishes on the 18th, so it would only be a week or so before he was free to do it, just the rehearsals could be interesting to fit in, esp as the mat is at 2pm each day.
Good luck to him if he has got the job, am going to see him in panto so will then see if I will go and see him in Joseph too.

That's true, so it would only be like a week or so after Lee leaves that he would take over. I don't mind either version of Joseph.. I've seen the West End one a bit more than the tour though

What's very very VERY odd is that there's just been a message saying Lee is announcing his successor!! Has this happened before?
