How exciting! Anyone got any ideas? Do you think it will be someone famous to keep the interest going? There was a rumour that Chris Fountain would be approached but I think he's still committed to Hollyoaks til May.......

I can't see that somehow. I didn't see him in the role and am therefore not even going to attempt to comment on his performance, but with the number of refunds they had to give out when he covered Lee I can't see any way that they'll give him the role full time.

I liked Lewis as Joseph. I loved Richard Meek, James Muller, Graham Tudor. Gavin James Burke, Richard Swerrun - the master.
New fans to Joseph may think they wont ever like any other person in the role after seeing Lee, but they will, in time.

Ive never seen Lewis so I cant comment!!But from what I head I thought he was good!!But were people getting refunds because they didnt like him or just because it wasnt Lee and they didnt do their homework and check Lees holiday dates!!It was only a suggestion!! I do think they will get a name thoughx

People weren't getting refunds when Lee was on holiday as the theatre and ticket agents had advertised the fact he wouldn't be there, they were getting them when Lewis covered Lee being sick and that was because they had booked to see Lee not Lewis so the theatre offered to exchange their tickets, would think they would do that anytime Lee was sick no matter who was covering him.
Having seen the show quite a few times with Lewis in the role, the theatre wasn't totally sold out apart from the Sat shows but then I don't know if it is during the week when Lee is there as I haven't been to a weekday show with Lee in the role yet.

I think Lee's going to be a very hard act to follow! He's the best Joseph I've seen. Even better than Jason and he's a legend!

They are slow in announcing his successor, if indeed there will be one.

They are being a bit slow. I thought it was to be announced quite quickly. I know the cast are all signed until July 09 except for Lee. I hope they announce it soon.

I could try Lee, but he never replies to anything these days, so I wont bother him.

I'd really like to see Lewis Bradley take over once Lee has decided to move on. I have seen Lewis cover for Lee twice and he did a great job of it. I'd love to see him in the role again.
I think that if everyone was open-minded enough to give him a fair chance they would find that the role was well within his capabilities.

Have seen Lewis play Joseph three times and he's superb in the role ;D I would certainly go to see him again ;D

I'm sure we'll hear soon enough. Perhaps not even Lee knows yet! Lewis has got the panto though hasn't he? So he couldn't take over straight away.
