Saw Jersey Boys yesterday. I was very disappointed, I had expected more from this hyped up musical. Glen Carter told the story as it went along. It was more like a tribute band. If you like the music of Frankie Valli and 4 seasons buy the cd, dont waste your money on this show. Kieran Jae was swing and on quite a lot.

I saw this with Lynda yesterday and have to disagree. I've seen it twice now and loved it both times ;D ;D.....although I think the fact that Ryan Molloy (who I adore!!) is Frankie Valli has a lot to do with it. I wouldn't say don't waste your money on a ticket, buy the CD, I'd say go see it for yourself, then make your mind up.

There are offers on so you don't neccessarily have to pay £60 per ticket. Front row is £20 and can be booked in advance, you don't have to wait til the day to book them, but be aware the stage is very high.

We have seen the show & thought it was good but I didn't like the language in it. We thought Ryan was great & I'd like to see Scott in the role. We got front row for £20 the day before. The stage is very high but that was preferable to paying £60. Tickets are available from the half price ticket booth, £38 for tonight.

I love the show! Ryan is great, but I have also heard great things about Jye Frasca.
I had a photo with Ryan at the Whatsonstage awards where he won Best Actor, Stephen Ashfield won Best Supporting Actor, they won Best Musical and other awards.

We went to see the show again on Saturday to see Scott as Frankie. We got seats in the second row which were great. Scott was fantastic. He has a beautiful voice & great acting ability & he looked very young at the start of the show when he was meant to be about 16. Jon Boydon was fantastic too & we love all the songs in the show.
Our journey home was very long. There were line works near Darlington, so the journey was meant to be 3hrs 10 mins (instead of 2hrs 40) but it ended up being 8hrs 8 mins as we got stuck behind a broken down train just outside London, then when we got to Doncaster we had to get off & wait 35 mins for the next train so we finally got home at 4am Sunday. We got free tea & water on the first train & we were kept well informed about what was going on. We were allowed to sit in 1st class from Doncaster so we enjoyed the spaciousness & quietness.

We went to London last week & had a great day seeing Jersey Boys Some of our trains are now non stop after York so we went on one & were pleasantly surprised at how many empty seats there were & it was a very quick journey. We chatted to Jon Boydon before the show & had time for a Nandos. Jon Lee was Frankie again & was brilliant. He's the fourth Frankie we've seen & the one we've seen the most. It was good to see Michael Conway on stage again & he played lots of different roles. It was also good seeing Wayne again. Trina wasn't on stage but we talked to her after the show. We didn't have to go straight home so we decided to see the Olympic Countdown Clock in Trafalgar Square. On the way there we passed Les Mis stage door & saw Gareth Gates go in. Then we saw Ben Harlow walking past. His girlfriend is in Lend me a Tenner & he was going to see the show. We were so surprised to see him that we didn't think about asking him if he's in a show. We found Tesco in Trafalgar Square so that is another place for Krispy Kreme donuts. It was nice to be able to get seats on the tube instead of being squashed like sardines & we got a fast train home. We heard the ticket man say to the girl behind us that the train wasn't stopping at Peterborough, so she had to stay on till York, wait half an hour & was due to get back to Peterborough 4 hours later than she'd expected. She hadn't heard the stopping announcements as she'd been listening to her i-pod & he didn't make her pay any more.

I saw the show earlier this year and REALLY loved it. It was actually one of my favourite shows that I've ever seen! i loved the story and their vocals were phenomenal.

We have been to see Jersey Boys again. We haven't been for months & we were missing Wayne & Jon Boydon & we wanted to see Wayne before he leaves next month It was a great show & it was good to see Trina play Frankie's daughter, Francine, & being in the ensemble as we haven't seen her in the show before as she is a swing, but from next month she is taking over the role of Francine. We were pleased that Jon Lee was Frankie as he is great We had difficult train journeys - the first one was 45 minutes late & was packed as were the tubes. There were line works on the way back home so the journey was an hour longer than usual & that train was packed as well & our Krispy Kreme donuts weren't as nice as usual
