There aren't many shows on in London on a Wednesday afternoon & the only one we could both agree on was Wicked. I didn't like it much when we saw it last year but I wanted to see Lee. After we got tickets we decided to find the stage door. We thought everyone would be in by that time but there were some people waiting & then Lee appeared. He was quite chatty & asked if we were still seeing lots of Jo. It was fun looking out for people that we know in the cast but I didn't like the show any better. Lee was in the ensemble at first & we thought he was good as Fiyero. Gareth Chart played the witch's father & he was in the ensemble a lot. He looked very different with no hair. Lewis has shorter hair than he used to. We didn't spot him much in the ensemble. We also remembered Tommy Sherlock from Footloose. Gareth stopped to talk to us afterwards even though he was in a bit of a rush. He said he'd seen us just as the curtain was going down. We commented on his new look & he said he was told to shave his head for the role. There's a Krispy Kreme stall at Victoria so we were able to stock up on donuts before we came home

There were three shows that we wanted to see on Saturday, so in the end we decided on a trip to London to see Lewis on his last day as Fiyero. There were hardly any seats left, even though the theatre is huge. We were offered very expensive seats at the back of the stalls or much cheaper ones in the circle behind a safety rail, which we bought. There were a few people near the stage door before the show so we waited a few minutes & Lewis arrived. It was lovely to see him again & we had a quick chat & met his mum. Our seats weren't too high, thankfully & the safety rail wasn't too bothersome. We thought Lewis was brilliant, as good as Lee & it was nice to see Gareth Chart again in all his different roles. He is staying on after cast change. Louise Dearman & Rachel Tucker (who we know from WWRY) were both great too as Glinda & Elphaba
