We have been to see Chris Kayson in Sleeping Beauty in Darlington. He is a dancer & u/s to the prince & looks much younger without his beard. It was a great show with lots of magic tricks done by the king. Sam Kane, Linda Lucardi & Zoe Birkitt are in the show.

We have had a great time pantomiming We went to see Lloyd Warbey as Aladdin in Carlisle. It was lovely to see him again as we haven't seen him since he left Jo & he was good flying on his magic carpet. He wasn't in the show as much as Wishy Washy who was a ventriloquist with a monkey. We thought that the genie looked familiar & towards the end of the show Roisin recognised him as Daniel Jacob who used to be in Jo, so it was a nice surprise to see him. Then we went to see Stephen Kirwan as Prince Charming in Cinderella in Newbury. It was a Hiss and Boo production & was very different & very good. Stephen was in the ensemble in the opening scene singing Winter Wonderland. Buttons was a mouse, Dandini was a country yokel called Billy, the fairy was dressed like an old fashioned pilot & called herself FG. The ugly sisters sang a few songs & one of them looked 10 feet tall, with a very high hairdo & very big heels & "she" tap danced & did the splits. Stephen didn't wear a sash - he wore royal sunglasses instead, he sang a song from Wicked & Moves Like Jagger, did some ballroom dancing & mended the clock which had stopped. The ugly sisters threw Cinderella into the river (off stage) & Stephen saved her & came back on stage without his shirt. Billy told him to put it back on as it was a family show. Then we went to see Keith as Prince Charming in Whitley Bay. His was the traditional Cinderella with two white shetland ponies which were lovely. Keith made his Scottish accent stronger than usual so it wasn't always easy to understand him. He had a very brightly coloured sash & called it his "amazing technicolor sash". They couldn't find the key to the cupboard where Cinderella was locked in & another was found under one of the audience's seats so Buttons said "any key will do" & "if we'd paid £5 more for our tickets we could have had Lee Mead". A lot of the cast went into the audience with water pistols & we got soaked. It was great seeing all the Jo guys in different roles
