I went to see "Les Mis" at the Queen's Theatre on Thrusday night and it was fantastic. I didn't sit as close as I wanted to as I was upstairs in the royal circle, but great view. I did enjoy the show, but mainly went to see how Simon Bailey was doing. He was amazing - in song and looks!! LOL He was very sweet afterwards and said he was really enjoying himself in the show.
I did have a little surprise when I read my programme as it listed Jonathan D. Ellis in the cast too. He is an ex-Joseph cast member from the London Palladium production with Phillip Schofield. Jonathan played the Butler and was always good for a laugh. I haven't seen him for years as everytime he was doing something I wasn't in the country. He did recognize me at the stage door, but didn't look like he remembered my name. Oh well, such is life!! LOL It was lovely to see him again - and Simon and I can't wait to see "Les Mis" again. I've booked for October 5th - only have to wait 2 months!

Glad to hear Simon is enjoying Les Mis - I'm hoping to go and see it sometime, not one of my fave shows but I'll go to see him and Jon Lee and Spike of course.
