absolutely not. be as miffed as you like. when my friends talk about their grandchildren, I talk about Joseph, that shuts them up. They have been to see Joe with me, some more than once, but their money is spent on their little ones. I was worried I wouldnt like Richard even thou everyone was raving about him, but he does have that "IT" thing when on stage, and your eyes wander over to him, great stage presence. He said he would go blonde ( I like male blonde totty) if required. Sir Kenwright please take note. Love Lynda xxx

Ooooh no no no, I like my dark haired men. We shall have to agree to differ. *nods*
*grins* It's a great way to shut people up, isn't it? If people are bugging me I always take on my theatre geek role and start rambling about the last show I saw - it usually works a treat.
I had the advantage in not having any prior expectations when I saw him the first time. Then when I went again on Thursday I knew I was in for a treat, and I was right. He really is a wonderfully charismatic man (both on stage and off). The show's certainly very different when you're much more interested in following one of the brothers than you are Joseph! lol

very true, and each show has that little bit something and you say to yourself that was the best one ever, until the next time. I can keep Gavin and Graham to myself then if you like daired haired boys.

(Sorry, Rich, I seem to have hijacked your thread lol) Thanks for the welcome, Tanith. Mad house, eh? I should fit right in then. It's quite amusing - I was telling one of my friends on Friday morning about how I'd rather be hated than be inconspicuous (of course, I'd rather everyone love me, but that's beside the point ). He told me it was a good job cause he doesn't think I have an inconspicuous bone in my body. Guess I proved it on Friday night lol The Rocky Horror Show is here this week (I'm going again to the late show on Saturday and dressing up, could be very amusing) - I had to promise my friend Lisa that I wouldn't cause as much trouble there as I did at Joseph. ;D Edit: *bookmarks review* That headshot is in the program from Edinburgh. The full version on the website is nicer than the circle in the program, but I'm still not overly keen on it (a fact which I may have blurted out to Rich himself on Saturday night *blush*). By the way, if any of you are on livejournal, you should add Richard Meek to your interests, I'm currently the only person with it there and feeling a bit lonely.

Heh, I doubt I'll make it to the stage door on Saturday (I'm going with my mother, need someone who can drive cause I'll miss the last train home), but I'll say hi if I do. I haven't seen Kevin go on, but Lynden is hilarious and Kay is a wonderful Columbia. Suzanne wasn't on on Monday - I saw her understudy, Sarah Boulton, who was very good. I'm hoping she'll be back by Saturday.
*moves over to the rambling thread*

Heard off Richard today, aww he has got H's cold. BBC interviewed him so that was great for him, as well as getting the usual fantastic reviews. go go Richard. What a fine specimen of a Joseph man. ;D If he dosent get the role of Joseph when H leaves, then I will never eat chocolate again Fingers crossed everyone. Sir Bill was wrong before when Gavin didnt get the role, better not do it again, give fans what that want, we buy the tickets and sit on the seats. Lynda xxx

Must have been nice for him to get to do the press stuff for his hometown stop (have you heard the BBC interview? I giggled lol). Not quite so nice to then catch H's cold though. And I agree 110%, he deserves the role when H leaves. Never mind the bums on seats celebrity casting business, people will go for the show. And if the comments I heard from audience and staff members alike in Edinburgh are anything to go by, nobody who saw Richard in the role was disappointed (okay, I'm sure there are die-hard H fans who missed him and were, but they're the exception).
