Introducing: Lee Mead
From: Southend-on-Sea Age: 25 Occupation: Singer/Actor
Why should you be Joseph? I feel I should be Joseph as this is something I truly want. I am passionate about this character and like many people, I have a part of my youth connected with the show. This was a touring production, and all I can remember is how involved I was with watching the show. I also believe I can give the public and the show the Joseph they know and love but with a new, fresh, individual stamp.
Career highlight so far? My career highlight so far would have to be without doubt the moment when I had the phone call for my first job. Until this point I never knew if I was going to be good enough to work professionally, it was a great feeling. The job was as a singer/dancer on a cruise ferry, and it was my first break.
Dream role? Other than Joseph, I would like to play Chris in 'Miss Saigon'. I think it's an all round great leading role for a man. A great story, strong challenging songs and beautiful music. To play the Phantom would also be amazing.
Hobbies? Cooking, playing football and various sports. I love going to the cinema and eating out with friends and family too.
Next show: Saturday 21st April at 7.25pm and 9.50pm on BBC One.

Hi there, I am a ADWD viewer from the Netherlands. I "accidentally" came across last Saturdays show and I enjoyed it so much! I can't wait for tomorrow's show : ). I've got a question regarding the BBC Joseph site. I've tried to watch the videos on there both with Windows Mediaplayer as well as Realplayer, but neither work for me. The videos just won't connect. Is any of you experiencing the same problem or is it just me? Also compliments on the website and the forum. It looks really nice . Take care, Dez

Thanks for the quick reply! I've tried to watch the videos on three different computers now (I'm that desperate yes It just bothers me that I can't see them), so Im beginning to think it's not my computer that causes the problem. I think I might send BBC an email.

Tanith - you could try this: I've watched most of last week's ADWD show again and bits of all the others on youtube. They're broken into 'episodes' so you have to watch part 1, part 2 etc. Brilliant, though, as it enabled me to see the bits that Lynda and I missed as we had to leave the studio early (my video's broken). Incidentally, if you like Peter Kay (I think he's hilarious) there's lots of fantastically funny clips of him on youtube.

Like i say the link takes forever to download. Be patient i'm on a fairly fast connection and it took awhile. Don't try refreshing the page that'll just take even longer. Its a fairly big file. Just leave it be and i assure you it will work. I was about to give up on it and all of a sudden it was working! lol

Hiya!
I guess I am not the only one that can't view them! The podcasts aren't a problem for me though, they download quite fast (considering it's probably a big file) and my computer plays them, but only after downloading. The videos on the website itself are the problem. I've tried downloading them too, but my computer wants to save them as a html file, so that's not working either.
I will contact BBC about it, and I'll let you guys know when I've had a reply.
Take care,
Dez

Hiya, I got a reply today about the videos. For me the rpbolem is solved; they'r UK only. Seeing I am from The Netherlands I can't view them! It's a shame, but oh well.. I'll just have to sit very closely to the TV on Saturday . Take care, Dez
