Can someone please explain to me why THE LORD has not decided to use the 11 runners up of ADWD as Joseph's brothers?? They would be absolutely perfect for the parts as they will have gone through thorough training and they know the ways of THE LORD very well so they will know exactly how he would want them to perform. Also, it would boost sales phenomenally if everyone's favourite hottie appeared in the west end production (not that they need to boost sales at all!!) I just cannot see a reason why they shouldn't do this-can you??

Some of us have had the very same idea.
Maybe, and this is only my thoughts, as a suprise at the very end of the show, this will happen ? We will all have to wait and see.

Have to wait and see!!

Steady ladies! Should we not spare a thought for the 11 existing actors who would be put out of work if this happened?!! I think it would probably be far too much effort to get the finalists up to speed as brothers in time for the opening. The rest of the cast will most likely be rehearsed ready to just 'slot in' the new Joseph, as they did with Maria. I wonder, though, if a runner-up might be Joseph in the touring production?! (If it's still running after July of course).

Oh Daisy of course we are not forgetting our current touring boys. Just getting carried away with the West End forthcoming Joe which is only running til January. There are plenty of boys who could step into the tour, many of whom we would love to see return.

I'm on Daisy's side here. It would put 11 other actors out of work - actors who, quite plainly, would probably be better than most of the ADWD guys. They're talented (some of them), yes, but few of them have the experience and the sheer professionalism to be ready - with everything as clean and as tight as it should be - in time, I would think. Joseph is a show that needs a strong cast - without, it's in danger of becoming just a bit short of a cheap kiddies' show. And boring, at that. Trust me, I've seen it. There are 2 or 3 I would happily see as Joseph on the tour though. Heck, there are a couple who I would quite cheerfully beg to start now, before the tour reaches Glasgow. Yes, someone needs to slap me on the wrist, I have a one-track mind it would seem.

I would love a certain person to still be Joseph, then the ADWD Joes could go and see the touring production and would then know exactly what they would be up against. No slapping on the wrist for you. Just calm down a bit. *sigh* if only we could chose the entire cast. xxxxxxxxxxx
