didnt see this one coming at all! NOT lol www.thestage.co.uk/news/newsstory.php/17339/second-joseph-emerges-from-any-dream-will-do"Craig Chalmers - one of the losing contestants on BBC1’s Any Dream Will Do - is still set to star in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat this summer, after he was announced as the lead for Bill Kenwright’s touring production of the show. It means that the BBC1 show has discovered two Josephs, with Lee Mead featuring in the West End version and Chalmers appearing in the same role, at the same time, but in a different production that will tour the UK, opening in Bromley in August. This will produce what is believed to be a unique situation, whereby two productions of the same show, with the same producer involved - Kenwright - will be playing less than 15 miles apart, but with different casts. Prior to appearing on the BBC reality show, Chalmers - who finished fifth on Any Dream Will Do - was a professional vocalist and entertainer and part of boy band No Reason. The touring production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat starts its run at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley on August 20. It will also play in Bath, Brighton, Cheltenham, Kings Lynn, High Wycombe, Plymouth, Derry, Dublin, Aberdeen, Cardiff and Sheffield. The West End production, starring Mead, opens on July 17."

The touring production is great in its on way.
I shall go to see it of course. But I can only get to Cheltenham the other towns are too far away. Some people cant afford to get to London or pay London prices so the touring Joseph will be a wonderful way for them to see what all the fuss is about. The costumes and set wont be as lavish and the brothers wont have wives, but who cares the music is the same.
I bet a lot of people got hooked on opening night and want a repeat performance.
yayayayayayay roll on 18th July. ;D

Lewis Bradley returns Jul 12 2007
SINGING star Lewis Bradley has returned to Teesside for the first time since his exit from the show that made him a celebrity.
Lewis, 18, from Nunthorpe, has come home for six days to reflect on his time on the BBC show Any Dream Will Do.
His life has changed these days as shown by his train journey back to the North-east from London, when several people asked him for his autograph.
The former Nunthorpe School pupil also went to the Princess Diana Memorial Concert and attended the after-show party where he met Prince Harry.
Lewis was further surprised to see pop star Natasha Bedingfield who shouted from a nearby car “Lewis you’ve got an amazing voice!”
Lewis said: “It has been a really busy time since I left the show.
“I was at the Princess Diana Memorial concert and at the after-show party I saw a lot of people like Joss Stone and the relatives of the Royals.
“Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber was also there and gave me a hug and said ‘We’ll definitely work together’.
“But at the moment it’s nice to come home to my roots and spend time with my family.”
Lewis has now signed with agent Dawn Sedgwick, who manages the career of comedienne Catherine Tate.
He is yet to sign up to any West End deals but said he is busy searching for auditions while enjoying the lifestyle that his new found fame has created.
He said: “They let me straight in to clubs for free which is strange because I was getting in the queue like everyone else and not thinking anything of it!
“During the filming of Any Dream Will Do there were three girls who were fans. They would stand outside the BBC centre from 8am till 8pm and it was incredible they would do that for us.”
Lewis said he also had a huge bag of fan mail that included everything from teddy bears to a four leaf clover.
His mum Aranka, 43, from Nunthorpe, said: “I am star-struck when I see him!
“I’m very proud and it’s lovely to have him home.”
