What a rip off. I for one wont be buying it. We want a cd of all the current cast.

The 'new' cast version of Joseph is the Jason Donovan version re-released with tracks from the new London show with Lee Mead anc co added to the end of the cd. Who came up with this "brilliant" idea ?

True, but a new CD will most probably make more money. It is a real shame. I'll pass as well.

let RUG know your feelings about this CD. Tell them you want a album from the current cast not one from 1991. email: Online_Team@reallyuseful.co.uk

Received an email from RUG regarding the CD:
I am sorry to disappoint you but there are no plans to produce another cast album for Joseph in the foreseeable future. The reason for this is that there are already numerous cast CDs in existence from various productions worldwide, and this latest London production is actually based on the 1991 cast album – which is available to purchase both in the theatre and online.
We do plan to release an extended version of this CD with two additional tracks, one being Lee Mead singing Any Dream Will Do, and the second will be Dean Collinson’s rendition of the Pharaoh’s new number – King of My Heart. For information about the release date please keep coming back to check the website.

How daft!! A new cd would make them so much more money! They've made recordings of ALL the london versions that RUG have done, even Darren Day tho its not easy to find.
WE WANT A LEE SOUNDTRACK HEHE
