The much anticipated debut album of West End star Lee Mead is announced! It’s the news that all Lee Mead fans have been waiting for – Lee’s debut album will hit the shops on November 19th! Lee is currently putting the finishing touches to the record, self titled ‘Lee Mead’, which is being produced by top music label “Fascination”, an offshoot of “Polydor”. After much speculation about the album’s play list, we can announce that the first single to be released will be Gonna Make You A Star. Originally a number one hit back in 1974 for David Essex, the single will be released on 3rd December 2007. Also, Take That’s Gary Barlow went to see Lee in Joseph earlier this year and as a result has written a new song called When I Need You The Most for the album. ‘Lee Mead’ will also include the hugely popular Paint It Black as performed with great success on the BBC’s Any Dream Will Do, along with the official ‘Children In Need’ single Any Dream Will Do which reached number two in the UK singles chart in the summer. Please check back on www.lee-mead.com soon for more information about Lee’s album launch.
