Met Kerry before the show for a little drinkie and catch up chat. She is so beautiful and such a lovely person. Had a good centre aisle seat row H. I had never seen the film so didnt know what I was letting myself in for. The cheorgraphy is amazing, will never know how dancers remember all those moves, or indeed can actually do them. Kerry Stammers (ex handmaiden) was fantastic in all her ensemble roles, she is so versatile, the things that girl can do with her body is mind boggling : Made me feel that I should apologise to all ex Joseph girls as I dont really give them much of a write up, yet without them none of the shows would be possible. Nothing to do with not wanting a pic taken with them, as they are young and lovely. Victoria Hamilton- Barritt played Alex and is perfect for the lead role a great all rounder. The girl club/pole dancers dont have an ounce of fat on them and I am sure the men in the audience appreciated their skimpy costumes and well toned bodies. Noel Sullivan was Nick, and he had lots of fans in the audience. Bruno Langley (Todd from Corrie) didnt have much to do. Bernie Nolan was a very good Mother and had some good songs ,her role wasnt that big either. Nice job if you can get it. Djalenga Scott (ex handmaiden) was Jazmin and is a very fine singer dancer too with long long legs. Young man and his girlfriend sitting next to me were enjoying the show, I asked if he went to the theatre much and he said No this was his first time and if it was all like this he would be going again. I recommended Chicago for his next visit. This show is worthy of a west end run. reviews on here www.expressandstar.com/archive/entertainment/theatre/

Flashdance - The Musical
Sparks will fly this summer as the World Premiere production of FLASHDANCE – The Musical explodes onto the stage in Wolverhampton.
Set in Pittsburgh, USA, FLASHDANCE tells the story of 18 year old Alex, a welder by day and ‘flashdancer’ by night, whose dream is to obtain a place at the prestigious Shipley Dance Academy.
Based on the Paramount Pictures film (Screenplay by Tom Hedley and Joe Eszterhas, story by Tom Hedley) FLASHDANCE is an unmistakably unique musical about holding onto your dreams and love against all the odds. The show features an iconic score including the smash hit "Maniac", along with “Manhunt”, "Gloria", “I Love Rock & Roll” and the Academy Award winning title track "Flashdance - What a Feeling".
Full of pulsating raw energy and breathtaking choreography by Arlene Phillips (Strictly Come Dancing, Grease, Starlight Express, Saturday Night Fever) FLASHDANCE – The Musical promises to be the theatrical event of the year – so take your passion and make it happen!
