Hi there, Just to let you know that if anyone is going to be going to the New Victoria Theatre in Woking and parking in the 'Peacock's centre, they are changing the way the car park works. Not 100% certain but i was told about the 1st May they are going to be using 'pay on foot' but as yet can't find any prices on their web site or when it is going to start. I found this out the last time i was there when the machines were being installed & just recently i contacted the council (can't find the reply at the mo ). That's going to be murder after a show as other 'Pay on Foot' car parks you only get 15 mins from the time you pay for your ticket until you have to exit and getting out of that place after a show can take up to 1/2 hour Good Luck for anyone going there next month (like me!!). Thanks for that, I don't tend to park there anymore if I can help it as the one across the road and just down the road are the same price and much easier to park in and get out of, the one across the road is pay and display I think (free on Sundays) and the one down the road is pay on foot after the show and about a 5 min walk if that but really easy to get out of, hopefully the peacock won't be too bad to get out of as long as it isn't near Christmas took me a hour last time I tried it round then a few years ago, and sure the council will of thought about that issue, well you would hope so anyway.
Enjoy whatever you are going to see there.

Went to Woking last night and parked at the Peacocks Centre.
I can confirm that they now have the Pay on Foot & it is £1 per hour between 6am through to 8pm.
Word of warning, allow a good 15 mins after the show to get your car park ticket to be validated at the ticket machine and on the ground floor there was 3 machines but of course everyone wanted to get their ticket altogether.
I was lucky & as i got there an hour before the show (thanks to the traffic, being in the rush hour i sailed through, thought it would of been a rush) and able to park on the same floor as you go out so it didn't take me long to get out - about 5-10 mins.
But though warn you especially after a matinee show or any time after an evening show.
Good Luck!!!!
Oh show was great - will report on that shortly.
