Woooo, two deliriously happy people here We think we will have to live in London during December, hee hee!! We were there at the weekend so we investigated the Shaw theatre, only a short walk from Kings X. It was open yesterday so we got fliers but Richard isn't mentioned. The theatre is next to the Novotel which looks very nice but very expensive - £185 prpn, a bit out of our league!!!

Hi yes ouch that is a bit pricy isn't it!! I have to admit anything over £45 is too much for me these days, especailly when you have to think of the price of the ticket (no offence there Paul they aren't too bad) then the travelling & eating when you get there.......it all mounts up doesn't it?
I had a cheap hotel that i stayed at last year, let me dig out the details & i will pass them onto you that's if you are planning to stay in London.

I know Christine mentioned about Travelodge deals in another board. Travelodge has just opened around corner from The Shaw, plus there is also a Premiere Inn. Might be a bit cheaper than Novotel. Hope that helps. Tatey.x

Yes Paul you are right some Travel lodges do great deals - check this link out - www.travelodge.co.uk/search_and_book/hotel_overview.php?hotel_id=258Oh already checked out the one near the venue - King's Cross isn't it (sorry brain not with it, Paul & Tan will know what i mean)..........£89 approx for the night. I didn't think the London ones would do £19 for the night But there is Kings Cross Royal Scot & that's only £59 for the night. As for the other site i was talking about it is www.travelstay.com/cheap_London_hotels.htm?gclid=CJrYrJ2k_JMCFQFuMAodWDAsWw, just click on the link to book the london hotel, put the date you are enquiring about & there are a couple in the Kings Cross area from just £35 Hope that helps Christine PS i have used those cheap budget hotels, the last one was a student's residential halls ok very basic but if it just for a night's kip no worries!!

Hi Paul Many thanks for your kind message. We will look out for you when we come & having James in the show is an extra reason for us to come, wooo. We loved him playing Joseph as much as Richard. Flyers with Richard on will be great - can you get James on too? Thank you & to Christine also, for help with hotels. We usually stay at Kings Cross Royal Scot Travelodge if we are there in the week & Kings Cross Premier Inn at the weekend as we prefer it there but their prices are quite expensive in the week & they get booked up quickly with businessmen. Thank you also Tanith, we are both well & enjoying our theatre trips. The London Jo cast is on www.josephthemusical.com, click on "the show" then "the cast", but they still seem to have the old cast for the understudies. Love Eunice & Roisin xx

Jack in the Beanstalk -Lewis Bradley
Time-travelling TV star Colin Baker will head the cast at this year's Theatre Royal pantomime in Bath.
Former Dr Who actor Baker will be joined by Emmerdale star Susan Penhaligon and singer Lewis Bradley - a finalist in Any Dream Will Do - for this year's traditional show Jack and The Beanstalk.
Directed by seasoned dame Chris Harris, the panto will run from Thursday December 18 to Sunday January 25.
Baker will be transforming himself into a baddie when he stars as Fleshcreep.
The 65-year-old who was Dr Who between 1984 and 1986 has also appeared on TV in the popular drama The Brothers, in which he he played Paul Merroney.
After playing Widow Twankey in Aladdin last year and Buttons in Cinderella in 2006, Harris will return to the dame role which has made him something of a local pantomime legend.
Penhaligon will be starring as the Fairy.
A prolific screen actress, her many leading TV credits include playing the role of Jean Hope in ITV soap Emmerdale and recent appearances on Casualty and A Touch of Frost.
Nineteen-year-old Bradley will be playing the role of Jack.
Watched by millions when he came third in the BBC's search for Joseph in Any Dream Will Do last year, Lewis was one of the most popular finalists in the hit series.
Also starring in this year's pantomime is comedian and TV presenter Jon Monie, who will take the role of Simple Simon.
There is a special offer on tickets bought before October 30.
