www.lewisbradleyofficial.com/I am not saying it is true but that is what one of the posts from a member says time wise for the boys day. To be honest I can't see it being true cause if they went out for dinner at 7.30 on mass then I can't see them getting food and being back in a hour esp being as well known as some of them are. but if they did then I don't blame them for wanting to pop out only after everyone who was going to see them was in the theatre, but maybe dinner being sent in would of been a better idea.

I already posted my thoughts so won't elaborate on them. However to clear up the confusion re Peter Howarth - if you read my post properly you would see I wrote Peter was lead guitarist of the Joseph band at the time, he never actually appeared on stage in the show. His wife Sarah was a handmaiden and thats how they met. He went on to do Robin Prince of Sherwood which he co-wrote.The sheriffs part was written for someone else and when that person was unable to appear Peter put himself in the role as he was the only one who knew it.When they were short of female cast members Sarah joined the cast too. Several of the cast members from Joseph joined them, Mike Holoway who was later replaced by Richard Swerrun, Joe Connors, Richard Kort and John Melvin to name a few.I also have a few different versions of the sound track which I still listen to aswell. The touring version of Joseph closed after 12 years when ALW took the rights back from Bill Kenwright so he could put it on in the west end and ruined it in the process. I have always loved the BK touring version which I saw many, many times.I do not like the current one, west end or touring so have no wish to see it. I preferred the Joseph costume that fitted where it touched was very short and very tight not a gloryfied nappy, cast members who could actually sing the notes that where written - not having to have the end re-written in a lower key or worse still sung as a calypso, and definately not a ten minute disco at the end just cos you can't tell which cast member is which!!!

Hi Season, thanks for clearing that up i didn't think that Peter was actually in 'Joseph' as like you i have seen the touring one for many years and prefer it (although haven't seen Lee or Lewis yet - now got tickets to see Lee on my birthday - yippee!!!)
I knew that Peter was in Robin and also wrote the music & like you loved the show - shame that wasn't back on the road that was a great musical. As for the old cast from the old days in not only Joseph but also Robin - wonder what they are doing?
In total i think i saw the original touring version about 250 plus times before that tour closed and although i have seen the show on & off over the years since i haven't enjoyed it so much.
Perhaps Season we should get together to go over old times - what do you think?
Christine xx

Never said Peter was 'in' Joseph, but being a part of the orchestra is still part of Joseph I remember the Robin programmes reading like a Joseph cast list hehe in fact one guy who was in Robin has since been in Joseph in the past few years! Steve Varnom! I suppose they all stay on Kenwrights books ;D
