Thanks Lynda Not sure if this is the right place but here are Jenna's words for Lee. Saturday 10th January 2009 So the day has arrived in the Joseph family when we have to say goodbye to Lee. After winning TV’s ‘Any Dream Will Do’ in 2007 Lee Mead opened on July 17th as the title role at the Adelphi Theatre in London’s West End in ‘Joseph’. He has performed to sell out crowds every night to great acclaim. It has been a joy and pleasure to work with such a talented man but also to have made such a great friend. This is not goodbye from me to Lee but just a little good luck message to him. Today the emotions will be exceptionally high and especially when I have to hand him his coat just one last time and when he has to hand it back to me at the end. That will be Lee’s goodbye and I’m sure we will both shed a tear or two. I wish him all the love and success in the world and believe me it won’t be long before you will be buying tickets to see him on the stage again. To those who will be at the Adelphi today I hope you all have a wonderful time and to the dedicated fans thank you for all your support over the past 18 months (12 months for me) at Joseph. I just hope the support continues for our new Joseph ‘Gareth Gates’ who will join the company within the next few weeks. ‘..........in the story of a boy whose dream came true......!!’ Sweet picture of Lee and Jenna on her site which is web.mac.com/jennaleejames/Jennas_Journal/Home.html

Andrew Lloyd Webber was interviewed on Chris Moyles' show this morning. He mentioned it being sad that Lee had gone and that he was a "great Joseph".

Thanks for that Lynda! Was just going to post it myself.
The interviewer is rather offensive and completely out of order to go digging in the past and in people's lives that aren't directly in the public eye.
Parts of it are incredibly interesting!

I agree, SMS. I was quite shocked at some of the tactics this journalist used...she really should not have approached anyone who is a private citizen to 'research' her piece. She also seems rather patronising about Lee. I'm disappointed that she chose to portray him as she did. But some of the things he said were very interesting indeed - project with ALW soon...? Thank you for posting, Lynda.

That's the press for you! Why they have to dig up dirt on old news is beyond me!

Lee is in Closer magazine this week There's a photo of his final night when ALW gave him his own coat. He discusses what the photo means to him.
